Hi, I'm Dr. Kyle Schumacher
Our Mission
At Schumacher Veterinary Clinic, veterinary care is more than a profession—it’s a family tradition. Over 40 years ago, my parents took a leap of faith and established a one-doctor, full-service, mixed-animal practice rooted in compassion, integrity, and community. Today, while our clinic has grown and evolved, our commitment remains unchanged: to provide inclusive, high-quality care for every client and every animal who walks through our doors.

We treat your pet’s health as personally as you do. Our team of dedicated doctors and staff—many of whom have been with us for decades—form the backbone of our success, bringing over 100 years of combined experience to every appointment.
We strongly believe that if we know better, we can do better. This guiding principle drives us to continually expand our knowledge and services. In addition to comprehensive wellness care, dentistry, and general medicine for both large and small animals, our clinic offers advanced diagnostics (including digital radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy), orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries (such as TPLO, Ridge Stop, and fracture repair), and holistic treatments like rehabilitation, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and cold laser therapy.

We proudly offer 24/7 emergency services exclusively for our current and established clients—those with active accounts within the past calendar year—so we can focus our full attention on our regular patients when they need us most.
New clients are welcome for routine wellness care, and we encourage early scheduling appointments to ensure availability. Same-day “drop-off” and urgent care slots are reserved daily to accommodate unexpected needs or emergencies and may incur additional fees.

While we love what we do—nearly every part of it—our commitment to a safe, respectful environment is unwavering. Aggressive behavior toward our staff or clients, whether in person or online, will result in immediate termination of services. Similarly, we may decline to treat animals exhibiting dangerous aggression for the safety of our team.
We are honored to serve this community and are grateful for your trust. We look forward to caring for your pets like family—because to us, that’s exactly what you are.
