Appointment Availability

Due to high demand, most routine visits are booking 4–6 weeks in advance. Please schedule wellness exams and elective procedures as early as possible so we can plan the best care for your pet.

A $50 booking fee is required for all appointments. The fee is applied toward the cost of your visit and is non-refundable and non-transferable. This helps us reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows.

Tuesdays by appointment only, starting at 8:30 AM - 11 AM, in 30-minute blocks
Wellness exams and vaccinations only at this time
Spay/neuter services coming soon

Urgent & Emergency Care

We know illness and injury can strike unexpectedly.

We reserve a limited number of same-day “drop-off” appointments for your convenience—priority is given to established clients. These appointments are for patients with minor illness/injury
Walk-in emergencies/urgent care cases may be accepted on a limited basis for current/regular clients only. An urgent care fee will apply.
Please understand our team may work through lunch or after hours to care for these cases.

Afterhours

Emergency care is available only to clients with an active account within the past 12 months.
In an emergency, please call—do not email or text.

House-Call Services

House-calls for large and small animals are available during regular business hours with advance scheduling.

Please note:

After-hours farm/house calls are no longer available.
Large animal clients must plan for transport to the clinic in case of emergency, as our doctors cannot leave in-hospital patients unattended.

Prescriptions & Non-Urgent Requests

Current clients needing prescription refills, routine care, or have general questions are encouraged to use our Otto app or email us at schumachervetclinic@gmail.com instead of calling.
